Devilish tricks: Brotherhood guiding voters' bloc in US midterm elections
The international organization of the Muslim Brotherhood was able to build a deep branch in the United States.
This branch exploits its spread in most of the US to achieve some advanced goals that exceed ethnic and religious containment to political influence.
The group prepared, with innovative ideas, for the primaries and midterm elections in the country which are scheduled to be held in November 2022.
The Brotherhood branch in the US plays active roles at the political level, perhaps the most important of which is introducing itself as responsible for the voting bloc of Muslims in the country, with its potential for direction, in addition to giving importance to its branch as an entity that cares about the Muslim bloc.
It brings this bloc to the centre of the attention of politicians who want to get a high voter turnout.
Brotherhood tricks
The Brotherhood used its entities in the country to devise various tricks to direct young people to vote in the primaries and midterm elections.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations, known as CARE, announced the staging of a comedy show to urge young people to participate in the elections.
The show is titled 'Get Out the Jokes'. It will be staged by the end of this year, according to CARE.
The council published on its official website that the show will be presented in several states with a schedule and affordable prices.
The show will first be staged in College Park, Maryland.
The state, CARE said, would be the first station for the show staging.
It added that the show would then be staged in Wisconsin, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington and Los Angeles.
The council indicated that its goal in political comedy shows is to increase the number of Muslim voters by about 200,000.
This means that the group wants to raise the number of Muslim voters during the upcoming elections to 1.2 million.
Employing comedy shows for this purpose, it says, will appeal more to young people and convince them to participate in the elections.
