5.1-magnitude quake hits southeastern Iran

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Iran's Anbarabad, the
southeastern province of Kerman with no casualties reported, managing director
of Kerman crisis management office announced.
Majid Saeedi said that immediately after the earthquake, the
crisis management committee was set up in the city centers of Anbarabad and
Kerman, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported on Saturday,
According to the Geophysics
Institute of Tehran University, the earthquake occurred at 23:47 hours local
time (20:17 GMT) Friday with its epicenter located at 28.23 degrees longitude
and 58.28 degrees latitude at the depth of 20 kilometers.
