Palestinian Foreign Ministry slams US pro-Israel bias

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates slammed on Saturday the US administration’s policy for the Middle East describing it as blindly biased towards the Israeli occupation regime.
In a statement released on Saturday, the ministry censured the US double-standard policy on Jerusalem, Palestinian refugees and the Israeli settlements.
When it comes the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, topped by their right to self-determination, or the two-state solution, US officials usually evade dealing seriously with these issues by calling for direct negotiations between both parties to the Middle East conflict, the ministry said, criticizing remarks given by US State Department Spokeswoman Heather Nauert to a Palestinian newspaper.
Nauert’s talk gave nothing new and was full of the same old US rhetoric and prejudices, it said.
