Israeli settlers vandalize playing ground in West Bank village

Israeli settlers vandalized on Tuesday a children playing ground built on land belonging to the village of Burqa on the Nablus-Jenin road in the north of the West Bank damaging a room and furnishings, the Palestinian WAFA news agency quoted a local official as saying.

Ghassan Daghlas told WAFA that the settlers broke into the park, which was still under construction, destroyed part of a room and damaged furnishings and playing equipment.

Vandalism has been in the rise in the occupied territories by settlers who feel immune from any punishment, he added.
