Experts underline importance of scientific cooperation to cut down dangers to environment
Participants in an international conference on environment
and sustainable development on Saturday underlined the importance of enhancing
scientific cooperation for cutting down dangers to environment.
They underscored, at the inaugural session of the
conference, the importance of activating the Arab comprehensive development
efforts for a better future of the Arab peoples.
The event is organized by the Iraqi Technological University
in cooperation with the Arab Union for Sustainable Development and Environment.
It is attended by around 120 experts and researchers from
Egypt and Iraq along with several other countries.
The participants meanwhile highlighted the necessity of
promoting cooperation between the private and public sectors to overcome global
development challenges.
