Daesh claims responsibility for attack on police station on southeastern Libya

Daesh terrorist organization on Sunday claimed
responsibility for the armed attack on a police station in the southeastern
Libyan oasis town of Tazirbu, leaving nine persons killed, others injured and
around 15 to 20 persons abducted, according to the Libyan Al Wasat website.
Daesh noted that the attack is not the first of its
kind, pledging to continue such operations. It also noted that the attack was
carried out by seven four-wheeled vehicles
Libya plunged into chaos after its 2011 Arab Spring
uprising.
On Friday, an armed attack was carried out against a
police station in Tazirbu town and the authorities attributed it to Daesh.
