Salami: Huge turnout in Bahraini elections reflects support for king's reform program

Arab Parliament Speaker Mishaal bin Fahm al Salami underlined that the huge turnout in the Bahraini parliamentary elections reflected the grand popular support for the reform program of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The success of the elections underlined people's confidence in the state institutions as well as rejection of foreign interference in the Bahraini internal affairs.

Participation in the elections reached an unprecedented level of 67 percent, according to initial estimates.
