Taliban claimed responsibility for an attack
targeting a security convoy in the western province of Farah, Khaama Press news
agency reported on Monday.
At least 20 Afghan police officers were killed when
their convoy was ambushed.
Several high-ranking police officials were also
wounded in the ambush.
