Four Kurds killed in Turkish airstrikes

Four Kurds were killed on Tuesday in Turkish
airstrikes on the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) in northern Iraq.
The Iraqi news channel Al Ekhbariya reported the
news without giving any further details.
On Wednesday, Turkish forces killed 19 PKK militants
during airstrikes in northern Iraq.
The air strikes targeted several regions in northern
Iraq, including the Qandil Mountains, a PKK stronghold.
Turkey regularly carries out air strikes against PKK
targets in neighboring northern Iraq.
The PKK, considered a terrorist organization by
Turkey, has waged a three-decade insurgency in Turkey’s largely Kurdish
southeast that has killed about 40,000 people.
