44th session of ATICM executive bureau kicks off in Cairo

The 44th session of the Executive Bureau of the Arab
Telecommunications and Information Council of Ministers (ATICM), under the
chairmanship of Tunisia, kicked off on Wednesday at the headquarters of the
Arab League's General Secretariat.
The meeting will set the stage for the 22nd session
of the ATICM, which will be held on Thursday.
The executive bureau groups Tunisia (chair), Sudan,
Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Comoros and Jordan.
The meeting will discuss the issuance of a unified
Arab postal stamp, in addition to the outcome of work of the council's working
groups in the communications, information technology and postal fields.
The meeting will also prepare for the World
Radiocommunication Conference 2019 (WRC-19), set for the Red Sea resort of
Sharm El Sheikh.
