Bahrain, US mull military ties

Bahraini Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and
First Deputy Prime Minister Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa conferred
Tuesday with US Vice Chief of Naval Operations Admiral William Francis Moran.
Khalifa stressed long-lasting and solid ties between
Bahrain and the United States that expand across various fields, particularly
in defense and security, the Bahraini news agency reported.
The Bahraini crown prince highlighted the importance
of continued cooperation and collaboration with the US, and other international
allies in order to achieve long-term regional stability and security.
