Arab Contractors honored as best contracting company in Uganda in 2018

Ugandan Vice President Edward Ssekandi honored
Egypt's Arab Contractors Company as the best contracting company in Uganda in
2018.
The move came in appreciation of the company's
commitment to international standards while accomplishing several development
projects in Uganda.
In a statement on Wednesday, Arab Contractors
Company Chairman Mohsen Salah said the honoring crowns the great interest of
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in promoting ties with African states.
He underlined that the company enjoys a very good
reputation in Africa.
Head of the Arab Contractors' African department
Ibrahim Mabrouk said the company is upgrading the Masaka–Bukakata Road in
southern Uganda at dlrs 54 million.
He noted that the company is also working on the
development and rehabilitation of Mulago Specialized Hospital in Kampala.
The project's beneficiary is the Ugandan Ministry of
Health with a cost exceeding 22 million dollars. It is including the civil and
electromechanical works, he said, referring to several projects in which the
company is engaged.
