Egypt partakes in donors conf.of G5 Sahel in Nouakchott

An Egyptian delegation under Deputy Foreign Minister
for African Affairs Hamdi Loza took part in a donors conference for development
that opened Thursday for the leaders of the Sahel five member-states in
Nouakchott.
Leaders and ministers from Mauritania, Niger, Chad,
Burkina Faso, Mali, France and Morocco along with representatives from several
Arab and foreign countries will participate in the event.
During the inaugural session, the secretary of G5
Sahel presented 40 projects worth 2 billion euros on security, stability and
development.
On top of the projects is a railway project linking
the capitals of the G5 member states.
The grouping includes Mali, Chad, Niger, Mauritania
and Burkina Faso.
