Conference of Supervisors of Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries to kick off Sunday
The 101st round of the Conference of Supervisors of
Palestinian Affairs in Arab Host Countries will kick off here on Sunday.
Officials from Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon,
Arab League Educational Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO),
Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and Islamic Educational, Scientific
and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) take part in the event.
In a statement on Thursday, the Arab League said the
five-day conference will take up the latest developments in Palestine and the
serious Israeli violations against the Palestinians along with several
important issues topped by al Quds especially after US President Donald Trump's
decision to relocate the US embassy to al Quds.
The event will tackle the financial situation of the
UNRWA and the means by which it overcame the financial deficit in 2018, the
statement said.
