A pro-Daesh terror cell made up of six people has been
dismantled, the Moroccan Interior Ministry announced on Friday.
The cell elements were carrying out their activities in the
city of Beni Mellal.
The suspects, aged between 24 and 37, were plotting to
conduct terrorist attacks in the Kingdom, the official MAP news agency
reported, citing a statement by the ministry.
Initial investigations have revealed that the cell's
members have recruited several young people with the aim of carrying out attacks
against those who oppose their extremist ideology.
The suspects will be brought to justice upon completion of
investigations.
