21 ceasefire violations reported in Syria: Russian Defense Ministry
Twenty-one ceasefire violations were registered in
the Syrian provinces of Idlib and Latakia, Aleppo and Hama in the past 24
hours, the Russian Ministry of Defense said in a daily bulletin posted on its
website on Monday.
"Within the last 24 hours, 21 ceasefire
violations have been registered in four provinces," the ministry said,
adding that the Turkish side also reported nine violations.
The ministry added that the Russian Reconciliation
Center did not report any humanitarian operations over the past 24 hours as
well and did not sign any agreements on including residential areas to the
ceasefire agreement.
Also, the number of military groups which announced
their acceptance of the ceasefire did not change.
A ceasefire brokered by Russia and the United States
came into force in Syria on Feb. 27. It was recognized by the Syrian government
as well as dozens of opposition groups.
