‘Israel only state immune from al-Qaeda, Daesh attacks’
CAIRO – Director of the Center for Middle East
Studies Abdel Rahim Ali said Thursday that al-Qaeda and Daesh had never staged
any attacks against the state of Israel.
He referred at a seminar on the financing of
terrorist organizations in French capital Paris to the presence of a Zionist
lobby in the US and Europe, whose job is to deflect international attention
from the terrorism Israel committed against the Palestinians and other peoples
in the Middle East region.
Terrorist organizations, he said, always give Israel
justification to attack the Palestinian Gaza Strip by firing rockets against
Israel.
He said the rockets fired in this case cause no harm
to Israel, but give it excuse to attack the Palestinians of Gaza every now and
then.
The seminar is organized by the Center for Middle
East Studies. It is held simultaneously with an international conference in the
French capital on the financing of terrorism. French President Emmanuel Macron
is attending the international conference.
