Iran supports Houthis with weapons and fuels the conflict in Yemen: US

Iran is sending weapons to the Houthis and fueling the
conflict in Yemen, US diplomat Rodney Hunter said Friday during his speech at the
UN Security Council meeting to discuss Britain’s draft resolution on Yemen,
which was unanimously adopted by the council.
Hunter also expressed his country's regret that the decision
does not hold Iran accountable for its activities in Yemen.
Meanwhile, British Ambassador Karen Pierce said in her
address to the Security Council that the new resolution allows the United
Nations to support the implementation of the Stockholm Agreement.
“The most important matter now is that we turn to urgent
implementation," she said, adding that the situation in Yemen remains
worrying and requires great work to avoid the risk of famine.
"The resolution represents an important basis for
helping implement the Stockholm agreement," the French delegate told the
Security Council.
"The new resolution demonstrates an international
consensus on the importance of a political solution in Yemen," he said,
stressing that his country supports all efforts to resolve the problem in
Yemen.
