Somalia’s al Shabaab group declares war against Daesh

Somali militant group al Shabaab declared war
against Daesh terrorist organization after accusing it of “ruining jihad in
Somalia.”
On Friday, newspaper quoted al Shabaab spokesman Ali
Mohamed as saying that Daesh is “a deadly disease” and “cancer” that has to be
eliminated.
While, Daesh, last Monday, killing 14 fighters of al
Shabaab in armed confrontations between the two sides of the Berri region in
the state of Puntland in northeastern Somalia, which is a safe haven for the
organization of daesh in Somalia.
In the wake of the internal differences that have
plagued the movement after the killing of Ahmed Abdo Goudani, a leader of the
movement, in a US air strike in 2014.
