Iraq tightens security on Syria border

Iraq has tightened security along its border
with Syria to prevent any possible infiltration by Daesh terrorists, a local
news channel reported on Sunday.
As the group lost more lands in the neighboring country, Daesh elements could
leak into the Iraqi territories, an Iraq military intelligence source was
quoted by Al-Ekhbariya as saying.
More troops have been deployed to guard the border, said the source, asserting
that the forces are imposing control on all borderline lands.
