PLO documentation center: 312 martyrs, 538 houses demolished by Israel in 2018
The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO)’s
Abdullah Hourani Center for Studies and Documentation said that the Israeli
forces killed 312 Palestinians in the West Bank (WB), Al Quds (occupied eastern
Jerusalem) and Gaza Strip during 2018.
The martyrs included 57 children and three women, it
noted.
Up to 262 Palestinians were killed in the enclave,
while 50 others martyred in the WB including Al Quds with an increase of more
than 200% compared to last year.
The Israeli troops targeted the civilians during the
Great March of Return in Gaza Strip, the center said in its annual report on
the Israeli violations against the Palestinians during 2018.
The number of the injured citizens reached 31,500 in
2018 in the WB including Al Quds and the enclave, it added.
Israel also demolished 538 houses in various regions
of the WB and Al Quds, the report mentioned.
