Iraqi intelligence arrest leader of Daesh terrorist group

The Iraqi intelligence directorate on Wednesday
announced the arrest of a leader of Daesh terrorist group.
In a statement, the directorate said that the leader
was in charge of following up the movement of security forces of the group in
Mosul, reported Al Summaria News channel.
The terrorist group has controlled the governorate
of Ninveh and its capital Mosul in 2014 but Iraqi security forces managed to
liberate the city after bloody battles in 2017.
