PM: Inauguration of mosque, church in NAC exception event sending positive messages to world

The inauguration of Al Fattah El Aleem Mosque and
the Cathedral of the Nativity in the New Administrative Capital (NEC) by
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is an exceptional event that sends positive
messages at home and abroad, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said.
During the weekly meeting of the cabinet, Madbouli
said that attendance of Azhar Grand Imam and Muslim clergy men in the church
and the attendance of Pope Tawadros II accompanied by the priests in the mosque
sent a message to the whole world on the unity of the Egyptians.
Madbouli thanked the Armed Forces, the Armed Forces
Engineering Authority and the Egyptian contracting companies for building the
mosque and the church in short duration.
Madbouli lauded the continuous efforts of the
interior minister and the police members to maintain security.
He also offered condolences to the family of late
bomb expert Mostafa Ebeid who was killed while trying to dismantle a bomb and
save the lives of other citizens.
Madbouli also greeted the Egyptians on winning the
organization of the Confederation of African Football 2019, adding that this
event will have a positive political, economic and touristic impact.
