Palestine, Germany confer on boosting tourism cooperation
Palestinian Tourism Minister Rula Maa'yaa conferred
on Thursday with Germany's Representative to Palestine Christian Clages on
means to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of tourism.
Maa'yaa apprised Calges of the general political
situation in Palestine and the region, pointing out to the Israeli aggression
against the Palestinians.
During the meeting, Maa'yaa highlighted the
different religious sites that can be visited in Palestine including the Church
of the Holy Sepulcher, Aqsa Mosque and Church of the Nativity.
Meanwhile, Clages said that Palestine has several
important touristic places, expressing his full readiness to promote bilateral
ties.
The meeting also took up the possibility of
Palestine's participation in the Berlin International Tourism Fair.
