Suicide attack target foreign forces convoy in Kandahar

A suicide bomber targeted a convoy of the foreign
forces in southern Kandahar province at around noon time Monday leaving at
least 20 civilians dead or wounded.
The local officials are saying that a suicide bomber
detonated his explosives near the convoy of the foreign forces in Daman
district, Khaama Press reported.
According to the local officials, at least 11
civilians were killed and nine others were wounded in the attack.
No individual or group has so far claimed
responsibility for the attack.
This comes as the anti-government armed militant
groups have been attempting to expand their attacks in key provinces and cities
of the country during the recent weeks and months.
The Ministry of Interior and Kabul police confirmed
that the successive suicide attacks in Kabul left at least 25 dead and 45
others wounded. (MENA)
