Three Daesh hotbeds destroyed in security operations in Iraq's Diyala

Iraqi security forces have destroyed three hideouts of Daesh terrorist group during pre-emptive operations conducted in the north east of Baqubah city in Diyala province.

Joint Iraqi forces carried out pre-emptive operations over the past few hours against specific targets of Daesh terrorist group in Hamrin basin in northeastern Baqubah, the National Iraqi News Agency reported, quoting a security source as saying on Tuesday.

The army warplanes shelled, two days ago, major Daesh targets in Hamrin basin, killing a leader of the terrorist group dead, according to the source.
