Iraqi forces detain 2 top Daesh leaders in Diyala

Iraqi forces on Monday detained two top Daesh leaders
in Diyala governorate, east of Iraq, the Iraqi army said in a statement.
Major Gen. Mezher al-Azzawi added in the statement
that the Iraqi security forces had arrested a top Daesh takfiri, who aimed to
carry out a suicide attack against the army.
The Iraqi security forces from the army’s intelligence
unit and counterterrorism division detained another Daesh leader in al-Thalab
valley northeast of Diyala.
