Ali says extremist organizations no longer have room in Egypt
House of Deputies Member and the Director of the Middle East Studies Center in Paris, Dr Abdel Rahim Ali, said Sunday that the age of terrorist and extremist organizations is over for good.
He added at a seminar in Dutch capital, Amsterdam, that Egyptians had already turned the leaf of the presence of extremist terrorist organizations in their country and that they look forward now to rebuilding their country.
"Those who want to be part of Egypt's political life can easily join any of the country's functioning and licensed political parties," Ali said. "The unrest that happened between 2011 and 2013 will not happen again in Egypt."
He said the Arab country's police, army and people will not allow this unrest to overwhelm their country yet again in the future.
Ali is in Amsterdam at an invitation by the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Community in Holland. He will speak at the seminar about a wide range of issues, including the terrorist threat on Europe, the conditions of the Copts in Egypt and also the status of the Muslim Brotherhood in the country and outside it.
