Egyptian delegation in Berlin for talks to import German technology

An Egyptian ministerial delegation currently
visiting here met Monday with German State Secretary at the Federal Ministry
for Economic Affairs and Energy Ulrich Nubaum to discuss means of boosting
bilateral cooperation.
The meeting also took up a possible exchange of
German technological expertise with Egypt.
Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar
said Egypt is seeking to boost cooperation with Germany in the fields of
economy and environment.
He also talked about cooperation in recycling solid
wastes to generate energy.
Nubaum said Egypt is an important strategic partner
of Germany.
He said the German minister of economy will visit
Egypt soon for further talks on bilateral cooperation.
