12 Afghan policemen injured in Taliban attack in northern Afghanistan

More than 12 policemen were injured in a Taliban
attack in Chamtal district of northern Balkh province in Afghanistan, Pajhwok
news agency reported on Sunday.
Taliban militants stormed a security checkpoint and
seized weapons and ammunition on Saturday night.
Police chief Syed Ikram said that only two policemen
were injured, but an anonymous source said that more than 10 policemen were
wounded in the attack.
aliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said 10 police
personnel were killed and three others wounded in the overnight attack.
