Arab Human Rights Committee reviews Bahrain report

A meeting between the Arab Human Rights Committee
and a high-level Bahraini delegation kicked off Monday at the Cairo-based Arab
League HQ.
The meeting will review the first periodical report
presented by Bahrain on its commitments under the Arab Charter for Human
Rights.
At the beginning of the meeting, the committee
chairman Mohamed Jomaa Fazee voiced appreciation to Bahrain for being keen to
present its reports and interact with the committee.
He added that the committee is interested in
standing on Bahrain's achievements to promote human rights.
