Arab parliament supports Bahrain in taking measures to maintain its security, stability

The Arab parliament renewed its backing for Bahrain
in taking all measures needed to maintain its security and stability and
banning any interference in its domestic affairs.
This came in Arab Parliament Speaker Mashal bin Fahm
al Salmi's address before the Arab human rights committee here on Monday. The
address was delivered on his behalf by Head of the Legislative and Legal
Affairs Committee of the Arab Parliament Nabil al Andalusi.
The committee convened to discuss a human rights
report on Bahrain.
The Arab parliament lauded the efforts of Bahrain
under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa in enhancing and
promoting human rights at all levels, a matter which has a great impact on the
confidence of the international community in electing Bahrain as a member of
the UN Human Rights Council.
At the UN, Bahrain gained 165 votes reflecting the
high estimation of its efforts to maintain human rights and apply international
humanitarian laws.
