AL begins preparations for 103rd Economic and Social Council session

Meetings were held here on Sunday at the Arab League
headquarters to prepare for the 103rd Arab League (AL) Economic and Social
Council session, slated for Thursday at the ministerial level.
The meetings, attended by senior officials of
ministries concerned with the social file in the member states, tackled the
agenda of Thursday's session, mainly a report by the Arab League Secretary
General on following up the implementation of the 102nd session's resolutions
and the General Secretariat's social-related activities between the two
sessions.
The meeting also tackled the social aspects of the
economic and social file of the 30th ordinary Arab Summit, due to take place in
Tunis at the end of next month.
