Arab Parl't reiterates rejection of Trump's decision on Al Quds

The Arab Parliament reiterated its rejection of US
President Donald Trump's decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem in a move
that contradicts international resolutions.
In the closing statement of its fourth session that
was held in Rabat, the parliament called for unifying the Arab stance and the
Palestinian one with a view to providing international protection for
Palestinian people in face of Israeli aggression, reviving the peace process
and backing the Arab peace initiative.
The pan-Arab body urged anew all Palestinian
factions to meet agreements they signed to end divisions, most-recently the
deal which was signed on October 12 on handing the national accord government
full administrative powers in the Gaza Strip.
It decried a US Congress decision to cut aid to
Palestinian people as well as the Knesset's intentions to issue a law to freeze
Palestinian Authority funding in order to press it to stop helping families of
martyrs, detainees and the injured.
The convention of the 29th Arab summit in Saudi
Arabia, under Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud, last April underscores
the strength of the joint Arab action, the statement which was issued Thursday
said.
Hailing the 29th Arab summit, titled "Al Quds
summit", the parliament welcomed a resolution issued by it that highlights
the unified ranks of Arabs to support the Palestinian cause.
Meanwhile, the parliament heaped praise on Saudi
Arabia's generous financial support to Al Quds and the cash-strapped United
Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees
