Fatah lauds Egypt's support for Palestinian cause

Fayez Abu Eita extolled on Monday Egypt's real support for the Palestinian
cause at the first Arab-European summit, currently in session in the Red Sea
resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
In statements to MENA, Abu Eita said that during the
summit, Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, asserted
that the Palestinian issue is the Arabs' first cause and that the sole solution
to it is establishing an independent Palestinian state.
The Palestinian official also hoped that Egypt will
spearhead a political process to ratchet up pressure on the international
community in the coming stage to find a permanent solution to the Palestinian
problem.
