Palestinian child dies of wounds in Gaza

A Palestinian child on Tuesday succumbed to his
injuries after being shot by Israeli gunfire during Monday's Great March of
Return, bringing the death toll of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces to 61,
according to the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip.
In a brief statement, Spokesperson for the Health
Ministry Ashraf al Qudra, said that the 16-year-old child Talal Ibrahim Matar
died of his wounds at Shifa medical complex.
Separately, Palestinian Health Minister in Ramallah
Jawad Awad, said that a delegation comprising doctors specialized in various
fields including neurosurgery, veins and orthopedics are set to arrive in the
Gaza Strip today to help their colleagues at the strip's hospitals in offering
treatment for the injured.
Speaking to "Voice of Palestine" Radio,
Awad said that four shipments of medicines will arrive at the Health Ministry's
stores in the Gaza Strip to provide the enclave with all its needs of medical
supplies.
