Researcher: Daesh draws on online recruitment

El-Naggar, an Islamist affairs researcher, has said the Brazilian police
detained 11 people affiliated with Daesh, citing that the terrorist
organization is trying to recruit young people via the social media after
consecutive blows in Syria and Iraq.
"Daesh
relies on a number of methods to recruit new members via decentralized means
and worldwide network," El-Naggar told THE REFERENCE.
"Daesh
is using the social media for remote recruitment of new members," he
added.
