Arab summit kicks off in Tunis

The 30th regular Arab Summit kicked off in Tunis on
Sunday.
Saudi King Salman bin Abdel Aziz, the chairman of
the previous summit, was first to address the attendees.
King Salman handed over presidency of the summit to
Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, who will then speak to the gathering.
Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit will
deliver his speech afterwards.
The first session will start later in the day with
Arab leaders delivering their speeches at the summit.
The agenda of the summit will then be endorsed and
discussed, as well as draft resolutions reached by the leaders.
A Tunis declaration will be issued at the closing
session which will be followed by a press conference.
