Five militants killed in Kandahar clash

At least five Taliban militants were killed in a
clash with police force members in Kandahar province, the provincial police
said Saturday.
Kandahar Police Chief Gen. Tadin Khan said that the
clash occurred in Maiwand district in Band-i-Taimor area when Taliban militants
attacked police soldiers, TOLO News reported.
He said that at least three police force members
were killed and one policeman was wounded in the clash.
