UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith has
discussed in a meeting with Houthi rebels obstacles to the implementation of
the Hodeidah Agreement, Alarabiya news channel reported on Sunday.
During the meeting, the two sides probed obstacles
to executing the first phase of forces redeployment in Hodeidah, as well as
some proposals to push forward a ceasefire and a troop withdrawal deal reached
between the Yemeni government and Houthis in the Swedish capital, Stockholm.
On Friday, Houthi militants prevented Head of the
Redeployment Coordination Committee (RCC) in Hodeidah Lieutenant-General
Michael Lollesgaard from attending a meeting with a Yemeni government's
delegation in the strategic port city.
