Israel moves 100 Palestinian prisoners from Nafha prison to several jails

Israel moved at least 100 Palestinian prisoners from
Nafha prison to several other prisons.
In statements to Voice of Palestine Radio on Monday,
Palestinian Prisoners' Authority Spokesman Hassan Abd-Rabbu said the move is
part of systematic repressive measures adopted by the Israeli prison authority
against Palestinian inmates.
Meantime, he added that Palestinian inmates of
Israel's Al Naqab military prison in the desert voiced solidarity with fellow
prisoners who were attacked and tortured by Israeli guards last week for fake
reasons. Fifteen prisoners were reportedly injured and taken to hospital
following the attack.
He stressed that Israel is trying to smear the
Palestinian prisoners' image to picture them to the outside world as terrorists
and criminals in order to give prison guards an excuse to assault them whenever
they like.
He cautioned that this poses grave threat to the
Palestinian prisoners' life and is considered a flagrant violation of
international norms and human rights conventions.
