OIC urges Libyan parties to practice self-restraint

The General Secretariat of the Organization of
Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed concern over the military escalation in the
Libyan capital, Tripoli.
In a statement, the OIC called on all parties in the
North African country to practice self-restraint and avoid armed escalation,
the Saudi Press Agency reported on Friday.
The OIC confirmed that dialogue is the only way for
settling disputes, voicing its support to the UN efforts aimed at achieving
comprehensive national reconciliation in Libya.
It urged rallying efforts of everyone with the aim
of preserving Libya's security and stability.
