Abdel-Rahim Ali, member of the House of Deputies and head of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris, stressed that Libya needs during this phase the support of the international community and the Arab League to liberate them from terrorism. Ali praised in a statement issued today the efforts of Marshal Khalifa Hafter and the national Libyan army after the great success achieved in the response to the militias of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda and supported by Qatar and Turkey, which led to the escape of senior officials from the airport of the International Meitaka Airport yesterday.

“The international community as a whole and all the Libyan institutions and the brotherly Libyan people are called upon to support the Libyan National Army, which has achieved great success on the ground before liberating the entire Libyan east from the grip of the terrorist groups by mercenaries supported by several countries,” Ali said.

Ali said that the main aim of the Tawafan el-Karama operation is to achieve political stability and try to improve the terms of negotiations with the reconciliation government which is absent from the need to confront groups of violence and extremism allied to the military operation in the Nub al-Libi.

It aims to ensure the security of Arab and European capitals, especially Egypt, Italy, Paris and others, especially since Tripoli has become the starting point of terrorist groups against neighboring countries.

MP Abdel Rahim stressed that if security is not achieved in Libya, it will not be felt by the neighboring countries. Therefore, the international community and the world are required to take urgent action to provide all kinds of support to the Libyan national army to control the whole Libyan territory and immediately lift the ban on importing or supplying arms to it.

He pointed out that everyone should be aware that the military operation that targeted Tripoli is ultimately targeting the death ships coming from Turkey through Greece and other countries in the regional environment supporting the terrorist groups and entities on the Libyan territories with the aim of dividing Libya and destabilizing the region.
