Ali al Sarari, an adviser to Prime Minister Mohammed
Salem Basindwa, criticized the silence of the UN and its Special Envoy of the
Secretary General for Yemen Martin Griffiths over the breaches of Houthis in
Hodeidah province.
In statements to Al Arabiya Al Hadath on Sunday,
Sarari termed as "unjustified" the UN silence over Houthi actions and
its daily crimes in Hodeidah along with its attacks on residential areas.
He asserted that Houthis are utilizing the
humanitarian truce to shell the joint Yemeni forces and attack civilians to
leave a large number of casualties.
The legitimate government in Yemeni and a Houthi
delegation signed a deal in December, 2018 to halt ceasefire in Hodeidah after
peace talks held in Sweden.
