EU condemns terrorist attack in Sheikh Zuweid

The EU has condemned Tuesday's terrorist attack in
Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai.
The attack left seven persons dead.
"We condemn the recent suicide attack in North
Sinai that resulted in casualties among policemen&civilians," EU
Ambassador to Egypt Ivan Surkos tweeted Wednesday.
"Profound condolences to families of
victims," he said, stressing that "without security sustainable
social economic development is not possible."
Surkos said the EU stands hand in hand with Egypt in
the fight against terrorism.
