24 civilians rescued from Daesh custody in Nangarhar

At least 24 civilians were rescued from the custody
of Daesh terrorist group in an operation by security forces in Nangarhar
province, the provincial governor's office said in a statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the residents were
abducted in Chaparhar district on Monday.
Three Daesh elements and a civilian were killed and
three civilians were wounded during the operation, the statement said.
The statement did not provide more details.
