Russian consul general: Strong relations bind Egypt

Consul General of the Russian Federation in
Alexandria Murad Gattin praised the profound Egyptian-Russian relations, saying
that ties binding the two countries are getting much stronger.
In statements to MENA, the consul general hailed the
meeting that brought together President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi and his Russian
counterpart Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of their participation in the Belt
and Road Forum for International Cooperation, currently taking place in
Beijing.
He added that 2020 has been labelled as the
Egyptian-Russian year when several events in all fields are scheduled.
