Great concern on Ali’s statements at the French Parliament

The French newspapers were interested in the lecture
of MP Dr. Abdel Rahim Ali, an expert on political Islam and the chairman and
editor of the portal, which was held by the French Parliament in the presence
of the leader of the French National Front Marin Le Pen.
French newspapers and websites also quoted many
warnings against Islamic fundamentalism. Twitter also caught up with the statements
of Abdel Rahim Ali and Le Pen, in which they warned of the danger of spreading
the ideas of these extremist movements to France and Europe.
Le Figaro newspaper focused on the joint press
conference between Marin Le Pen and Abdel Rahim Ali. Le Pen and Ali criticize at
the conference “The financing of Islamic fundamentalism by some countries”.
“No dignity for a prophet in his country” with this
statement, Marin Le Pen justified the invitation of the journalist, MP Abdel
Rahim Ali, to the parliament, who came to warn France during the joint press
conference on the “deviation of Islamic fundamentalism” after very serious
actions (referring to the events of Marseille, which saw an attack on some
elements of the police), according to Le Figaro newspaper on Tuesday in its
coverage of the press conference.
Marine Le Pen, has stressed the need for international
cooperation to combat the funding of radical Islamist groups, which foster
terrorism in Europe and the whole world. She has said the whole region is going
through an era that requires vigilance and awareness as well as warning
countries which finance radical Islamist movements such as Qatar.
There is a mismatch between the fight against
religious fundamentalism and Islamophobia, she said. "This conference is
aimed at understanding the developments in the Middle East, learning about the
radical groups that have recently emerged, and to delve into its outlook in the
post-Daesh era and how to combat terrorism in the future," Le Pen said,
noting that Dr. Abdel Rahim Ali, exposed the history of the Islamist groups and
the future of radical Islam in the region.
The head of CEMO said Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and Abu
Hamza al-Muhajir were killed in a car in April 2010 -- in an uncommon incident
for such takfiri organizations -- and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, born Ibrahim Awad
Ibrahim al-Badri, was named Emir of the Islamic State of Iraq.
Ali said Abu Mohammad al-Julani, one of the field
commanders of the Islamic State of Iraq, headed in 2011along with a group of
militants and money he had obtained from Abd Al-Rahman al-Nuaimi, a Qatari
terrorism financier, to form an offshoot of the Islamic State in Syria under a
new name – Al-Nusra Front.
Ali added that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi later renamed
the organization as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), aka Daesh,
which derived from the Arabic initials D (for Dowla, or state), A (for
Islamiya, or Islamic), and Sh (for Sham, or the Levant).
The far-right leader has said radical Islamist
groups, along with wrong and extremist concepts of Islam, are on the rise
worldwide. She noted that all of these topics would be tackled in the
conference.
"We should move to stand in the face of these
radical and terrorist groups, which get finance from countries like
Qatar," she said.
Le Pen has said France is facing a number of major
challenges and dangers posed by radical Islamist movements which highly impact
many areas such as the French suburbs, which fall under the influence of
radical Islamist groups.
"We have warned of this phenomenon and wrote
about it many times. We should cooperate to put an end to the funding of
radical Islamist movements," she said.
The leader of the National Front has stressed the
need to cooperate with Egypt in combating terrorism, citing the Arab country's
long history with terrorist groups. She noted that Egypt "is
fully-aware" of means and channels for funding the radical and terrorist
groups.
Le Pen said France made a mistake by taking part in
military strikes against Syria. "[Syrian President] Bashar is fighting
radical Islam, and we fight Bashar as if we suffer from schizophrenia. This is
my opinion and I said it many times… I will propose a plan comprising 40
suggestions to disband all of the radical movements in the French suburbs, and
combat its growing influence in these areas," she added.
Le Pen's comments were made during a lecture by Dr.
Abdel Rahim Ali, Chairman of CEMO, delivered at the French parliament. Ali's
lecture focused on post-Daesh terrorism, the dangers inherent in terrorism
financing, and the implications of this financing for Europe. The lecture also
focused on the role the Muslim Brotherhood and its international organization
play in backing terrorist activities worldwide.
Ali revealed when extremist organizations emerged in
the region, pointing out that the beginning was in 1980 when Kamal Al Sananiri,
member of the Guidance Bureau of the Muslim Brotherhood met Palestinian member
of the international guidance bureau Abdullah Azzam to get him acquainted with
the decision of the Guidance Office to send him to Pakistan to establish an
office there to receive young Mujahideen Arabs coming to fight against Russians
in Afghanistan.
Ali pointed out that Azzam set up the office, which
was later turned into the Mujahideen Services Office in 1984. Azzam also
established a database for these young people, which was later used to form
al-Qaeda.
Abdul
Rahim Ali threw light on the beginnings of Daesh as a terrorist organization.
The
idea of creating such an organization, he said, started at the time of Abu
Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad, in Iraq in 2003.
Ali
added at a lecture at the French parliament that Daesh is an offshoot of the
Egyptian Islamic Jihad Group, which was established in 1998 and then merged
into al-Qaeda.
Islamic
Jihad, he said, believed in the importance of confronting the "Near
Enemy", namely Arab regimes, not the "Far Enemy", namely the US
and Europe, like al-Qaeda believed.
Nonetheless,
the new merger masterminded attacks in Nairobi, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam,
Tanzania, in October of 1998, Ali said.
It
also masterminded the attack on the American naval destroyer USS Cole which was
docked in the Port of Aden, Yemen, in 2000, and then the 9/11 attacks in
Washington and New York, he added.
"We are
facing a historic moment when our leaders will open their eyes well or close it
and we have the feeling that the French government is following the ostrich
strategy," said Marin Le Pen. "Who was the first to warn against
Islamic fundamentalism? "I say it with all my sorrow: some French
political officials have been prosecuted and are still receiving money from
Qatar," Le Pen said, referring to the book of “our dear emirs”.
The leader of
the National Front revealed that the Qatari influence penetrated without
discrimination in the suburbs, associations, political and press world in
France and attacked Marcon because of his plan for the suburbs and said it
would present on Wednesday the suburban Le Pen plan, which plows 40 items.
