Yellow Vests Hold 25th Week of Protests in Paris

Activists gathered on Saturday in Paris for the 25th
consecutive week of Yellow Vests protests, a week after President Emmanuel
Macron pledged to cut the income tax in order to ease the economic burden on
French taxpayers.
Last week's protests were marked by clashes with
police with dozens of protesters being arrested. According to the French
broadcaster BFMTV the protests gathered more than 23,500 people across France.
Besides protesting in France, the Yellow Vests have
been spotted in other parts of Europe. Earlier this week, people in yellow
vests were spotted outside a court in London where the hearing on WikiLeak's
founder Julian Assange's extradition to the US is taking place.
