Anwar Gargash criticize the Qatari moves in the ICJ

“UAE did not seek to raise an issue in the
international organizations and courts against Qatar” Anwar Gargash, UAE
Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said. Unfortunately, Gargash added, this
is what Qatar did in its desperate moves to break its crisis.
“Today, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) has
heard an excellent case for the UAE legal team, refuting the country’s
allegations. The problem of the Qatari ban for the website used by the Qatari
citizen to obtain an entry permit to the UAE has been significantly highlighted”
Gargash said.
He continued: “The Doha crisis has prolonged,
weakened and undermined its sovereignty. One of the reasons is the loss of the
courage necessary to review and reverse the policies that have harmed Qatar and
its neighbors.
Doha has claimed that the UAE has taken
discriminatory measures aimed at Qatari citizens on the basis of their
nationality, including deporting Qatari citizens and preventing them from
traveling through the UAE, and restricting Qataris' right to express their
opposition to measures taken against their country by the UAE.
